Pandas in Edinburgh

The pandas, whose names mean Sweet and Sunshine in Chinese, were given to Britain as a “gift fromChina” earlier this year and have become a symbol of Scotland’s relationship with China. The news today is that they will be settled into their new home by December 4th. This will be the first time in 17 years that giant pandas have been on display in the UK and a first for Scotland. A really nice way to get to the Zoo from Bells Brae House is to walk along the River of Leith walkway to Roseburn and then catch a 26, 31 or 38 bus to the zoo ( 6 minutes)
